Exteriors

Our homes are often our biggest investment. Our exterior painting service will protect your investment. “It's all about the prep!” It doesn't matter how expensive the brand of paint you put on if the prep isn't done right, it just won't hold up. As a lead certified firm for the State of Washington, our exterior service starts by testing for the presence of lead and if found, abiding by EPA lead safe standards. We then scrape off any loose and failing paint and collect and dispose of all the chips. We will then sand the edges of the area that was scraped to create a “feathered edge”. Then we power wash all the surfaces to be painted with 3200 PSI. Once clean and dry, we address any carpentry issues, spot prime any bare wood, caulk cracks, butt joints, and end cuts, mask off any surfaces that aren't getting painted, and cover any landscaping that is nearby with breathable drop clothes so as not to kill your plants. All this is done before we apply one drop of paint! Now all that's left is to spray and back roll the first coat (back rolling is necessary to ensure that the paint properly adheres to the surface) and spray a second coat. Then we usually paint the trim by hand. Then we remove all masking material, clean up and touch up.

Fine Finish Coatings

Our fine finish coatings service uses premium enamel paints and specialty spray equipment to achieve a “factory like” finish on items like doors, furniture, and mill work including; crown molding, picture rail, chair rail, and baseboards.

Extras

Power washing is good to do between paint jobs. Say you’ve had your house painted four years ago and it's still holding up, but is starting to get some moss and dirt build up, a power wash will make it look new. Power washing can also be great for decks which tend to get slippery and unsafe when they aren't cleaned regularly.  We also offer gutter cleaning.
